Tech 3 ships were introduced in the Apocrypha expansion on March 10th. These ships are built from modular parts, allowing for a wide variety of possible ships and load outs. The technologies for these new ships come from new space that is linked by wormholes.

T3 ship are built from 5 different blocks. Each race has 5 variations of each block. Blocks from different races are not capable of being used on the same ship.
